Multihulls in class 8 have been included in most of the races on the San Diego PHRF schedule. There are races almost every weekend, giving the multihulls the opportunity to build their fleet and enjoy great racing.

In March, four multihulls joined the North Race Rally in this year's San Diego NOOD Regatta. There was a good turnout of new crew and boats for the event, and we are always looking for additional racers and crew. The Helly Hansen National Offshore One Design (NOOD) Regatta, the largest national sailboat racing circuit in the United States, kicked off its second stop of the year in San Diego. More than 100 teams competed in 12 classes throughout the weekend for the series’ top prize — a trip to the British Virgin Islands to compete in the Helly Hansen NOOD Championship Regatta, hosted by Sunsail.

In addition to top finishers, Peter Lucas took 4th place in his Corsair 31 UC. Peter had an exchange student as crew for the event, and Mark Burden joined the Race Rally with his F82 R, a Florida boat that was plans built.
